Trascom is the leading fair to be held in Italy in 2008 for the freight transport sector.
At Trascom, professional visitors will be able to approach the exhibits presented via the
three dimensions of sustainable transport.
These requisites re-introduce the market to a new fair format, in a trade fair centre
that will present a new track circuit, and three days entirely but separately dedicated
to the three dimensions of freight transport.
“Seven new aspects” at TRASCOM 2008
The first
The content of this Trade Fair is unmistakeably innovative: the three dimensions of transport sustainability.
The economic dimension involves the area of research and new technology.
The environmental dimension deals with logistics and intermodality. Extremely important issues are examined for the first time at an event in this capital city.
The social dimension examines the strategic issues of safety and road mobility.
A day will be dedicated to each theme and a Conference will be organized for each dimension concerned.
A highlight is also planned, with the presence of a testimonial, a leading figure and international expert on these themes.
We are negotiating with personalities such as Amartya Sen, Nicolas Stern, Josef Stiglitz, Gro Harem Brundtland and Jeremy Rifkin.
This event can be entirely sponsored.
Brand sponsors will have full control and visibility for all communication tools.
The second
An extraordinary and entirely asphalted track for technical tests (see attached plan).
A 1.2km-long asphalted circuit with the most structured test area of all Italian trade fair centres.
In the centre of this circuit, it will be possible to use an area for demonstrating quarrying/site machinery.
The third
Four new exhibition halls for use by TRASCOM, connected to new entrances behind Fiera di Roma, which can be directly accessed from the surface underground railway, stopping at “Ponte Galeria”.
The fourth
The new TRASCOM Website designed with new functional elements and formatted to be of real assistance for all operators.
The fifth
The second Truck Meeting will be held in the city, in collaboration with leading associations of truckers.
The sixth
A proposal of Partnership
If your company accepts a Partnership agreement, choosing to support one of the fringe events, exclusive conditions of participation may be reserved.
The seventh
The setting up of the TRASCOM Study Centre for research into sustainable transport issues.
Run by Solly Cohen, it will provide in-depth examination of issues and useful research with implications that will be presented at theme-based conferences.
